I forgot!

To add yesterday that to top off the weekend, the TV died Sunday night right in the middle of Bones.

I was in the kitchen making a cuppa when I heard a click, then the TV turned off. I was about to blast Fluffy for turning it off when I was still listening to it, but he was nowhere to be found.

So I thought someone had accidently set the sleep button. I turned it off. I turned it back on. Nothing. I light whirring sound then... nothing.

So I dug out the paperwork, looked up the Panasonic service centre details on the web, and put it all out for Fluffy to call Monday.

The fellow turned up yesterday afternoon, pulled it apart, and declared a board was gone. He replaced that, then found it was still not working.

He suggested a second board was gone (apparently often when one goes it takes the other with it... strange interrelationships going on in the back of televisions). But he didn't have one in stock.

So, he removed said television, took it away with him, and left me with this....

It should be back Wednesday. Yay for warranties! Oh, and I managed to jam my finger in the cupboard door yesterday, giving myself a nasty black mark under the nail. Then burned the same finger on the hot oven shelf putting the dishes away last night. *sigh...*

Oh No!! At least they came around quickly... and as for electronics... that made in China stuff is just downright dodgy. And its true if one PCB goes, then its usually better to replace both of them.

Hope the finger is OK, and you get your telly back soon. I just bought a new one, and am looking forward to having it delivered on Saturday!

Take Care!

The TV cabinet looks very naked eh?
Bummer about the finger... they say things happen in 3's... so maybe that finger isn't out of the woods yet!!!
